Happy 4th Of July

Just a quick word today to wish everyone a happy holiday. If the rain holds off, I will be going downtown to watch the big parade this afternoon for the first time. Perhaps I will wear swimming shorts in case it does rain. In any case, I hope the day finds everyone well and that you get to wave a sparkler or two into the night air this evening in a little bit of celebration.

Welcome

As I look back on my life so far, it occurs to me that I have been in nearly every type of relationship situation possible for a gay man, from friend to long-time lover. All except the kind that lasts forever, but how many of us are lucky enough to find that? As an idealist, however, I haven't lost hope. I write this blog to express my ideas on the subject, or at least provide some form of self-therapy. In any case, my hope is that you will find something here to relate to. I would hope that all of us can relate to love. It is one of the most important parts of our lives. While I will be serious sometimes, there is always room for a laugh or two, just try not to make the same mistakes I have. Good luck!
